April
15, 2004 So you probably figured out from
some of my posts that I'm in the adult entertainment business. Honestly
it really doesn't feel like it. I have a couple of friends I work for.
One runs a foot fetish site that specializes in VERY niche content. The
other is a bondage producer. I myself used to own a panty fetish website
and I'm thinking about starting it up again in some other form...more
for fun than profit this time. Hopefully the profit will come along for
the ride too because I'm really tired of making money for other people
and not seeing any of it for myself. I AM really happy with my job right
now for the most part so money IS a secondary issue...I just really want
something to call my own. I'm still trying to decide what to do exactly...anybody
got any ideas? I've got a few but of course they're a little over the
top and starting to sound like a lot of work the more I think about them.
![]() That reminds me...I've got a camping trip coming up next weekend and I was going to try out my new tent today to make sure it was all there and working right. My old one finally bit the dust at Burning Man this year so I had to buy a new one. My old tent was BIG. But I was determined to get an even larger one and had thought I found the perfect one at Target. It was 18'x13' and it cost $230. Ouch! There was one at Costco that was 17'x10' for a cool $100. After coming to grips with my financial situation, I had nearly decided to do the right thing and go with the cheaper but still HUGE Costco alternative. BUT THEN! I wandered into WalMart for something I can't even remember now and happened to walk by the tent section and there IT was! A 20'x14' monstrosity for only $150. The thing is so big it has wheels on it like a suitcase for hauling it around. They only had one left so I did the only thing I could do and bought it on the spot. After a little homework with the yardstick I realized that my new playa home is a good bit larger than my living room is! Now I just have to find the right chandelier for it. Oops! forgot about the car again! Later... |
