April 12, 2005 I was bored. I haven't gone soft on you. I'd much rather be taking photos of my girl's butt, but she's sitting on it while she does the school work so I got stuck with this flower. It's a nice flower, but I'm really not a flower shooting kinda guy. One thing did come out of this though. I realized I DEFINITELY need to change my post-processing habits. Right now I shoot hi-res jpeg's in the camera with an sRGB profile. I do this because everything I shoot goes on the web anyway. BUT, I loose alot of quality and tonal range doing it that way. I need to start thinking about making a dime or two on my own with this photography thing, which means I need to be really on top of the quality. It's a few months down the road but I plan on making a few equipment upgrades and as I do I'll change my workflow over to a completely RAW format, get serious about archiving files and just all around get my shit together. Hopefully! Keep your fingers crossed for my financial well being:)
