23, 2002 I finally did it! I made it outside
today. I even got a little exercise.. This is Cowles Moantain...highest
point in San Diego. I think it's right at 1,100 feet from top to bottom
and the trail is 3 miles round trip. I used to run this every other
day for quite a while. Then I took a head first dive into a bunch of
rocks going full speed down the thing and that kind of took all of the
fun out of it from then on. I was very suprised today...I never even
got winded. I figured after doing nothing more active in the last four
months than sitting in front of this stupid computer, I would be lucky
to make it all the way up. |
