This is...or WAS the Nude Bowl. It's in the desert outside of Palm Springs. In the 60's this was a nudist resort. It burned down and all that remains is the empty pool which has been used by skateboarders since the 70's. It's been shot up, filled in, had old cars and refrigerators dumped into it and shot up some more over the years but it keeps coming back to life. This is early on the morning of Dave Ruel's birthday(the party is here every year I think). By that night all the holes had been patched, new coping put in, and a fresh clean layer of paint had made it nice and presentable for the couple hundred people who showed up to skate and party all night. Unfortunately skateboarders aren't the only ones who party there anymore, and these other assholes are always fighting and fucking shit up. After a particularly bad night in late 1999, the city filled it in. I don't know how bad they fucked it up, but I wouldn't be suprised if it has already come back to life.
